Piggy's Beat Mix app for iPhone and iPad

Piggy’s band is creating a new song called "Pig Sings". Each band member has a different music genre as their favorite, and they end up arguing on which one the song should be in. Everyone has a strong opinion on which genre to choose. One likes Rock, the other prefers Dance... Since they can’t choose, they decide to do a mash-up song that features everyone’s favorite genres, all five of them! How would Samba and Heavy Metal go together? Try and find out!

You are the conductor and the band members are your orchestra. Tap and swipe them up or down and make them play riffs and fills! Swipe them left or right and they change the genre! Drag them and they start dancing hilariously to the rhythm of finger’s movements!

Features:
- There are five members in the band: Hugo the donkey plays the Bass, Ellie the cow plays the guitar, Rockster the rooster plays the drums, Darius the goat plays the keyboard and Piggy the pig and Hercules the mouse are the singers.

- Original song "Pig Sings" was composed specifically for this app which includes 66 different music loops and 180 riffs and fills in five different genres (Rock, Samba, Metal, Dance and Ska), which the user can mix and match. The amount of combinations is almost endless!

- Hilarious lyrics are displayed on screen for you to sing along!

- Swipe the band members to change the music loop and tap them to play riffs and fills. You can also tap the drum cymbals and Rockster will interact with your tap and do a cool cymbal crash.

- All music loops and riffs have different corresponding animations.

- Drag the band members and they start to dance to the rhythm of your finger’s movements.

- Fun effects! Tap the smoke machines to produce colorful smoke on stage or tap the fire jets to add pyrotechnical effects.

- Tap the camera icon to change the camera angle.

- Control the lighting from day to night with a slider. The lights on stage look especially cool during nighttime!

This app is not only fun, but also educational. Kids will learn about different music genres and learn about the structure in music. They can hear how the mood in music can be changed by switching just one loop in the song.

They can learn how adding a fill or a riff at the beginning or at the end of the bar, or swiping in another loop when there is a chord change has a powerful effect on the way the song sounds.
